47% of chemists have been ‘extremely’ or ‘very’ affected by Covid-19

Chemistry has been hit hardest by the pandemic, followed by biology, medicine and materials science, according to a new ‘State of Open Data’ report by Figshare. The findings, which were developed and published in collaboration with the technology company Digital Science and Springer Nature, are based on survey results from 4500 academic researchers worldwide.
